The Story:
Atlantians became very prosperous after they created the substance called Oriharukon. Wanting to learn the secrets of this mysterious material, many other civilizations implored the Atlantians to share their knowledge, but they refused, closing their door to outsiders.

Anyone that persisted, the Atlantians brutally destroyed. Eventually, the Atlantians exhausted all the supplies of the four crystals, the raw materials for Oriharukon. Their thirst for the crystals led to the destruction of four great civilizations (the Yellow River, the Indus Valley, Mesopotamia, and Egypt), and set them on a path to conquer the world to find more.

But the arrogance and greed of Atlantians would instead lead to their demise. When they lost control of the magic powers generated by Oriharukon, Atlantis disappeared in the blink of an eye. But, remnants of Oriharukon survived.

Your Quest:
To follow a treacherous path fated to you as a descendant of Atlantis. To find your ancestral home, which vanished off the face of the Earth long ago. To fulfill your destiny: Save humankind from the disastrous effects of Oriharukon, the source of Atlantis' destructive power.

You will embark on an epic journey that will take you to mysterious and dangerous locations around the world, as well as through time and human history. You will enter countless battles against creatures of legend and lore, mutated and deadly due to the influence of Oriharukon. But you will have the help of mercenaries you meet along your way, facing enemies together.

You will collect clues from the remains of ancient civilizations, which will ultimately lead you to the lost land of Atlantis, and all the secrets kept there.

Me and Aqui tried it out too when it was Closed Beta. It's pretty fun, yet, the fact that you don't have 1 char, but a "group", made it a bit impersonal, we did not feel attached to our char, hence, stopped playing.

But don't stop posting updates and SS of your adventures! We are more than happy to see your progresses Smile

Hmmm, its been on my list to "try" since the CB ended. But frankly I've been busy with school
and pestering everyone that I never got that far down the list.

And yes part of it was playing Shayia, Shin Megami and tons of games I won't care to list.

I will admit...I was afraid of the turn based gameplay and lack of "central character".

However I am just as attached to my main character as I would be in a normal RPG. I've gone
to great lengths to keep him alive despite the party being doomed.

Any way...

I WANT TO OWN A TOWN AND FOUND A NATION!!!!

sadly [KAV] is going to need alot more people to do so. Which means I will have to make
the decision to do recruitment postings when I have some more time.

If you've got some spare time mister Py and Miss Aqui you might drop by and say ello in
game :P..

Anyways, Atlantica Online has been fun and addictive. The worst part being that I haven't the
time to fully explore all of the parts to the game.

So I am leaving Karli, Ari and Jav to do it in my absences.

Ok, now that i've played it again, i realize what i missed last time i played. Indeed, the feeling of not being to much attached to my main char has not changed much.

BUT, since last time i never got out of the "training ground", I missed some important features that make that game sooo fun:

1. Market system
OMG. IMO, this is the best MMO Market (CS) system i've used. 100% enhancing, instant current price rate finding, easy search and find categories... I'm having so much fun browsing and finding good deals to resell or enhance (reminds me of druglord game...)

2. Almost unlimited staking: wow.

3. Items are in boxes: saves ALOT of invent space. Open them only when wanted.

4. 20+ classes: makes the game and fights always different

5. Due to classes, you can make formations: So much strategy is involved due to this... which makes it really fun. It's like building your deck of magic cards and trying it out in game.

6. LDP (long distance party). OMG, getting XP from a party that is anywhere in the world... wow. Go Go powerleveling Smile

So, yes, i think this is a very fun and very different than most MMO games played so far Smile

Well since I am currently detained by thesis projects, research papers and such
Karli is operating as the official guild master till I am able to sleep and eat without
stress causing me horrible issues.

Lol!!

I don't think karli was making that much either. Sorry py but without owning a town
you just need to be able to sell items and no where to get them. Since I tend to farm ashen jewels and phoenix jewels I sell them. The phoenix sell for around 300-600k depending on the day. I sell them in 100 batches so 30-60 million per sale.

I don't make "millions" a day, maybe 1 million, depends on what I'm doing and how long I'm on. ^_^
Pyros needs to quest more at any rate. :P
